When you register for an account, we collect your email address and usage metrics (documents processed, pages extracted). Payment information is processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment provider. We never store your full credit card details on our servers.

Document Data:

When you upload documents for extraction, we process them in server memory. We do not permanently store your documents. Your documents are processed and immediately discarded from memory after extraction is complete (typically within seconds to minutes depending on file size). The extracted data (spreadsheet output) is temporarily stored in your browser session only and is never saved to our servers.

Usage Information:

We collect analytics data about how you use our service, including page views, feature usage, error logs, and performance metrics. This helps us improve the service and fix technical issues. We track the number of documents and pages you process to enforce subscription limits.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the PDF extraction service
  • Process your documents and generate spreadsheet outputs
  • Manage your account and subscription billing

Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmission between your browser and our servers uses TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS)
  • No Document Storage: Your uploaded documents are processed entirely in server memory and are not permanently stored in databases or on disk
  • Immediate Processing: Documents are discarded from memory immediately after processing completes
  • AI Processing: Documents are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic Claude) via encrypted API calls for extraction. The AI provider processes data according to their privacy policy and does not use your data for training
  • Secure Authentication: User accounts are managed through Supabase with industry-standard password hashing and email verification
  • Payment Security: Payment information is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never directly handle or store credit card numbers

Important: Because we do not store your documents, we cannot recover them if you lose your extracted data. Always download and save your Excel/CSV exports immediately after processing.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI): Your documents are sent to Anthropic's API for AI-powered table extraction. Anthropic processes data according to their privacy policy
  • Supabase: Authentication and user account management
  • Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management
  • Vercel: Cloud hosting and infrastructure
  • PostHog: Privacy-friendly analytics to understand service usage

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum necessary information to provide our service.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. Essential cookies are required for the service to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with our service.
